Colloquium, “France 1500: l’Art pictural à l’aube de la Renaissance” (France 1500:  The Pictorial Arts at the Dawn of the Renaissance)

Talks in the Colloquium will explore issues of patronage, production, and interchanges between media in artistic centers outside Paris, Tours, Bourges, Lyons, and Rouen.  Speakers include:  Elizabeth L’Estrange, Tania Levy, Marie Jacob, Nicolas Herman, Caroline Blondeau.  Discussants are Elizabeth Taburet-Delahaye, Thierry Crépin Le Blond, and Geneviève Bresc-Bautier, who are three of the curators in charge of the exhibition “Entre Moyen Age et Renaissance: France 1500” at the Grand Palais. 

The Colloquium is followed by a visit of the exhibition accompanied by a drink between 18:00 and 20:00 at the Galerie Les Enluminures.
